Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
  • Monitor patients' well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
  • Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
  • Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and addressing questions or concerns.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Respect company property, including cash and patient financial information on-site or on patient portals.
  • Exhibit and maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Requirements

  • Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgment while remaining professional in all situations.
  • Effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect for patients, guests, and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and solve complex problems.
  • State licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT) certifications as required by state regulations.
  • BLS certification, depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
