Portneuf Medical Center (PMC) is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's Level II Trauma Center and tertiary referral hospital. Responsibilities

• Perform quality CT scans and, as needed, radiography under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Radiology.
• Apply radiation and physical safety measures.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy in contrast administration, positioning, and exposure technique.
• Remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of patients through good communication, patient assessment, monitoring, and care skills.
• Use independent, professional, ethical judgment and critical thinking.

Requirements

• Certification and current registration as a Registered Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Graduation from or current enrollment in an accredited CT training certificate program or school.
• Must hold or obtain current licensure as RT(R)(CT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
