About the Role

Performs computerized tomographic radiographs in accordance with established practices and procedures, reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness and prioritizing them effectively. Responsible for maintaining necessary credentials and supporting new employee orientation by documenting clinical competence. May perform general radiology or lab testing as required.

Utilizes critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based guidelines to manage imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Communicates effectively with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal outcomes. Engages in education, safety checks, and quality improvement initiatives.

Demonstrates cultural sensitivity, professionalism, and commitment to continuous learning, supporting organizational goals and patient care excellence. This role involves providing compassionate, safe, and efficient imaging services, contributing to patient well-being, and supporting the healthcare team to achieve high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications

  • ARRT certification required.
  • NM Computed Tomography License (NMCT) or provisional NMCT license (NMPCT).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, escalate concerns, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and evidence-based practice.
  • Willingness to support patient education and staff development.
