About the role
Under the general direction of the manager, you will prepare, set up, and operate CT Scanners following specific physician orders. You will produce detailed computer-generated scans for diagnostic and interventional information, perform patient care tasks, maintain facilities, and ensure proper archiving of files to RELAY/PACS and RIS. You must stay current with all outpatient procedures and policies within the CT Department and engage in additional duties as assigned.
- Competent in all routine outpatient CT exams
- Obtain ARRT or NMTCB (R), (T), or (N) registration and applicable state licensure
- Confirm correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, interview, and medical record review
- Explain exams to patients, ensuring compliance and understanding
- Adjust scanners and injectors to correct settings for all exams
- Perform required imaging according to department protocol or Radiologist request
- Ensure exams are labeled correctly and images successfully transmitted to PACS
- Adhere to all departmental and hospital policies
Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Radiologic Science required; Associate's degree preferred
- ARRT or NMTCB Registry required
- MA State license required
- CT Registry required within 1 year
- BLS required within 90 days

Schedule
- Tuesday, Friday, every other weekend
- 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
- 36 scheduled weekly hours
Pay
$50 - $50.25/hour (Grade 5). Base pay is determined by skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and other essential factors. Offers may include additional compensation elements such as differentials, premiums, and bonuses as applicable.
