CT Technologist

We are seeking a CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans to produce high-quality images, exercising professional judgment during procedures. The role involves patient care, initiating life support if necessary, and effectively interacting with patients, physicians, families, and staff. Key Duties Include Operating CT equipment and performing related procedures and protocolsLearning and utilizing new technology and orienting new employeesObtaining patient information to enhance personalized careDeveloping understanding of patients' physical and emotional states across all age groupsPerforming basic radiology tasks, mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures as neededAdditional responsibilities may include on-call rotations, nights, weekends, and holidays depending on facility needs Qualifications Include Completion of AMA-approved radiologic technology training or JCERT-accredited programARRT certification required at hirePreferred CT certification within two years (DICOE and ACR standards)Licensure through relevant state boards (ND, SD, or Iowa) depending on locationBasic Life Support (BLS) and IV certification within six weeks of employment Skills and attributes: strong technical knowledge, professionalism, ability to learn new technology, effective communication, and adaptability to varying responsibilities.
