About the role

This role involves providing CT scan examinations to patients of all ages, ensuring accurate imaging and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions
• Operate CT equipment and maintain supplies
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain patient records
• Ensure proper patient positioning and immobilization
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Participate in departmental performance improvement

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
• Current SCRQSA license or limited license (with a requirement to obtain a permanent license within 6 months)
• Certification in BLS CPR within 7 days of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred ARRT-CT registration or eligibility

Skills

• Excellent patient care and positioning abilities
• Knowledge of PACS and imaging equipment
• Strong safety practices
• Effective communication skills
