About the Role
A CT Technologist responsible for performing CT scan examinations across all age groups, ensuring accurate imaging and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition, operate CT equipment, and maintain records.
- Prepare examination rooms, maintain supplies, and ensure equipment functionality.
- Position patients properly, immobilize as needed, and provide correct breathing instructions.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or nearing completion.
- SCRQSA license required; limited license for students, with full license within 6 months of hire.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
Qualifications & Skills
- Preferred: 1-2 years of experience in CT or related field.
- Preferred: ARRT registration or registry eligibility.
- Key attributes: Attention to detail, technical proficiency, patient care skills, and knowledge of radiation safety.
