What You'll Do
- Perform computerized tomographic procedures with technical precision.
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety through expert positioning and the precise selection of technical parameters.
- Manage clinical administration of contrast media within your professional scope, ensuring all state and federal safety regulations are strictly met.
- Advocate for patient well-being by monitoring responses during procedures and maintaining a rigorous standard for radiation safety and protocol updates.
What You'll Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- ARRT(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
- ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- ARRT(R) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
