CT Supervisor
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT technologist with leadership abilities to step into a key role where you'll influence patient care, support staff development, and help drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations within the CT department to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care
- Coinciding staffing and securing coverage during short-staffed situations
- Managing equipment performance and resolving issues promptly
- Partnering with leadership to recruit, interview, and onboard new team members
- Communicating department updates, policies, and expectations to all staff, including per diem team members
- Developing and leading training sessions and in-service education for CT staff
- Serving as a clinical instructor for the SUNY CT program, helping shape the next generation of imaging professionals
- Leading by example, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and performance
- Contributing to staff retention, engagement, and recruitment initiatives
- Supporting additional responsibilities as outlined in the full job description
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Experience: Experience in a hospital-based, high-volume CT environment required
- Proficiency: Proficiency in invasive radiology procedures strongly preferred
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate and support a team
- Certification/Licensure: Current NYSDOH license to practice Radiography, ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (CT) certification strongly preferred

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
