CSR WAREHOUSE II - SSC

About the role

Dal-Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries and the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, is seeking a Customer Service/Warehouse Associate. This role involves a mix of customer service, office administration, and warehouse duties to support the operation of the Sales Service Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to walk-in customers, including assisting with order requirements, answering inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.
• Address and resolve customer complaints, such as returns and order errors.
• Perform office administration tasks, including processing payments and receipts, reconciling DSRs and cash box, preparing bank deposits, balancing petty cash, generating performance reports, updating customer records, and creating vendor orders.
• Enter customer orders, create plant/RDC orders, and complete stock replenishment orders.
• Prepare sales slips and produce daily sales reports.
• Pull and assemble customer orders, verify outbound order accuracy, conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, and move, store, and replenish materials.
• Perform daily cycle counts and receiving duties, including unloading inbound material, processing shipments, stocking material, handling customer returns, and reporting damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operate crane and forklift equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility through sweeping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, and general office maintenance.
• Uphold a safe working environment by following all safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of customer service and warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Strong organization, math, time management, and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may also sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. The associate must be able to:

• Regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs.
• Safely lift up to 70 lbs (team lift required for materials longer than 36 inches or weighing more than 70 lbs).
• Use close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
