CSR WAREHOUSE II - SSC
About the role
Join Dal-Tile, the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States and a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This position provides a variety of support, including servicing walk-in customers, completing sales transactions, and performing material handling duties such as receiving, loading/unloading material, pulling/assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. Daily use of forklift equipment may be involved.
The primary objective is to perform customer service, office administration, and warehouse duties related to the operation of a Sales Service Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by assisting walk-in customers, determining order requirements, answering inquiries, providing samples, offering direction/selection assistance, completing sales transactions, and accepting payments.
- Address and resolve customer complaints, including returns and order errors.
- Perform office administration duties such as processing payments and receipts, reconciling DSRs and cash box, preparing bank deposits, balancing petty cash, preparing performance reports, updating customer master files, and creating vendor orders.
- Enter customer orders, create plant/RDC orders, and complete stock replenishment orders.
- Prepare sales slips and produce daily sales reports.
- Pull and assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, conduct inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, move/store/replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
- Perform receiving duties, including unloading inbound material, processing shipments, stocking material, handling customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operate forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, cleaning, and performing general office maintenance.
- Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety rules and reporting accidents, unsafe conditions, or acts to management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of customer service and warehouse experience.
