About the role
Join Dal-Tile, the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States and a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role ensures effective and efficient coordination between the company and its customers with a high level of service and support. The CSR Warehouse Associate II performs a variety of material handling duties in the warehouse and provides customer account management.
Responsibilities
- Service walk-in customers, answer inquiries, provide samples, and complete sales transactions.
- Perform warehouse duties: pulling/assembling orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy, inventory stock checks, restocking, labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, moving/storing/replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
- Handle receiving duties: unloading inbound material, processing shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
- Operate forklift equipment.
- Manage customer accounts, including order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock checks, and transportation management.
- Provide customer service for a high volume of inbound calls using Automated Call Distribution (ACD).
- Key in orders, process faxes, and prepare reports.
- Interface with internal teams and Shared Service Centers (SSCs) to address customer inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
- 1 or more years of customer service experience.
- Certified Forklift Operator.
- Focus on customer account management preferred.
- Prior tile industry knowledge is preferred.
- 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
- Good, conversational, and professional voice quality.
- Ability to interpret and follow oral/written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills.
- Moderate computer skills in Word and Excel.
