CSIR-Fourth Paradigm Institute (CSIR-4P1), Bengaluru is a data-driven translation Institute under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), which is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. The vision of CSIR-4PI is to pursue “High-end Computational Science Empowering Data Intensive Scientific Discovery” in trans-disciplinary areas through large-scale scientific computing. Our facilities include world-class supercomputing environment; research test beds; attractive academic programs; strong network of CSIR Labs with domain expertise, etc. CSIR-4PI is recognized as a leader at National Level and competing at International Level for its multidimensional high impact studies of the earth system covering all the four geographic spheres for over three decades.

Eligibility/Qualification

• Indian researchers with exceptional academic records, experience in Data Science, and relevant qualifications in computer science, mathematics, and related fields. Candidates should hold either an ME/M.Tech or Ph.D. in specified disciplines.

• Data Science & Supercomputing (15 Posts): Seeking individuals skilled in developing data science tools, machine learning, and AI applications across diverse scientific fields.
• Earth & Engineering Sciences (5 Posts): Applicants specializing in Earth System modeling, climate sciences, geophysics, and related areas using AI & ML interventions.

Job Requirements: Development of dynamic prediction models, High Resolution Image analytics, Al/ML based predictive modelling and Data modelling. 35 years as on 05.06.2024 Rupees 56,000/- per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) Doctoral Degree in Physics/Statistics/Mathematics/Atmospheric sciences/Environmental sciences/computer sciences/Remote sensing or equivalent from a recognized University; Candidates with provisional doctoral degree is also eligible to apply.
