About the Role

Prestige Travel & Cruises Inc., the largest travel agency in Southern Nevada, is seeking a Cruise Promotion Specialist to join our growing Cruise Division (PrestigeCruises.com). This role involves building exclusive promotions for our call center and online platforms, ensuring accuracy in promotional details, and supporting sales tracking. Responsibilities

• Verify cruise sales amenities using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Communicate with sales and supervisory teams to address quality assurance issues.
• Invoice cruise payments via the CRM system to accounting.
• Create promotions and emails for the consumer site.
• Build rate codes and Google Sheets that are understandable outside the industry.
• Follow company procedures to ensure guest protection and smooth operations.
• Research and stay updated on travel destinations, customs, weather, and COVID-19 procedures.
• Attend in-person and online training sessions with preferred cruise lines.
• Communicate with support departments and escalate major issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a professional image in interactions with cruise lines and clients.
• Adhere to attendance, phone adherence, and conformance expectations.

Qualifications

• No previous travel business experience required; full training provided.
• Personal cruise experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Internet and computer savvy.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Average typing speed of 50 WPM.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Physical requirements: Ability to sit for up to 8 hours, use a computer and telephone simultaneously, and manage multiple monitors.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months or more of customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Cruise product and service knowledge.
• Client/Account Management CRM experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Call center experience preferred but not required.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule with shifts available days, evenings, and weekends.
• Current operating hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Expanding hours: Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Shift swapping allowed after training.
• Open 365 days a year.
• 6 paid holidays.
• Paid time off accrual starts on the first day of employment and can be used after 90 days.

Pay

Salary: $31,200.00 - $39,000.00 per year

Location

Las Vegas, NV. Must be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting work.
