About the role

The role is responsible for managing the culinary department on board the ship, overseeing food preparation, quality control, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the culinary department including menu planning, kitchen management, and staff training.
  • Ensure all food products meet safety and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory and procurement to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
