Cross Country Coach - Part-Time
About the role
BASIS Baton Rouge Materra is seeking a Part-Time Cross Country Coach to join their team. This is an auxiliary position and not a full-time role.
Responsibilities
- Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of cross country
- Create and implement drills to help build foundational skills
- Counsel students through best practices in sportsmanship
- Attend all meets and practices
Requirements
- High school diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous coaching experience
- Experience working with young athletes
- Ability to demonstrate cross country skills effectively
- Experience in cross country at a competitive level
Preferred Qualifications
- Collegiate student-athlete experience
