Regional Trainer position based in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Western Nebraska, or surrounding area.
About the role
Design, develop, and deliver innovative instructor-led classes and webinars for the home office, field, and agents, including developing and maintaining supplemental training materials.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the delivery of crop insurance-related content to customers in an assigned territory.
- Manage and service an assigned training territory in conjunction with the field sales, underwriting, and claims teams.
- Design and develop content for training initiatives relating to software applications, processes, and insurance products.
- Deliver training presentations to internal and external audiences on a regular basis, both in-person and via webinar.
- Perform needs analysis review and collaborate with assigned subject matter experts (SMEs) on objectives and course content, in conjunction with supervisor.
- Apply adult learning theories and best practices in instructional design and delivery to achieve intended outcomes.
- Manage small to medium projects to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate’s Degree related to training, education, or production agriculture required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate various audio-visual equipment is helpful.
