About the role
Farmers Mutual Hail (FMH) protects the livelihoods and legacies of America’s farmers through comprehensive farm insurance solutions. As America’s Crop Insurance Company™, we are headquartered in the U.S. and have been owned by the farmers we insure for over 125 years. This is a remote position, and the ideal candidate will reside within North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Western Nebraska, or the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates the delivery of crop insurance-related content to customers in an assigned territory.
- Manages and services an assigned training territory in conjunction with the field sales, underwriting, and claims teams.
- Designs and develops content for training initiatives relating to software applications, processes, and insurance products.
- Delivers training presentations to internal and external audiences on a regular basis, both in-person and via webinar.
- Performs needs analysis review and collaborates with assigned subject matter experts (SMEs) on objectives and course content.
- Applies adult learning theories and best practices in instructional design and delivery to achieve intended outcomes.
- Manages small to medium projects to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Associate’s Degree related to training, education, or production agriculture required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- Strong presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate various audio-visual equipment is helpful.
