Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to assess, plan, and administer anesthesia tailored to the unique physiological needs of pediatric patients.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations.
- Discuss anesthesia options with patients' families.
- Provide age-appropriate education and reassurance to both the patient and their caregivers.
Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in related field is required; Doctorate degree is preferred.
- Certification: Registered Nurse licensure, CRNA certification, Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists certification, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification is required.
- Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
