CRNA Per Diem
About the Role
Join our well-respected Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) team as a Per Diem CRNA. You will provide a safe anesthetic experience for assigned patients under the guidance of the attending surgeon, manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room, and promote teamwork with Operating Room personnel, physicians, and other departments.
This role covers OR services at St. Clare Hospital, St. Anthony Hospital, Gig Harbor Day Surgery, and Franciscan Digestive Care Associates - Endoscopy. You will handle cases including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotic surgery, Podiatry, Urology, Gynecology, Endoscopy, and ENT.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients under the guidance of the attending surgeon.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Stay current with research and best practices in Anesthesiology to provide evidence-based care.
- Manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.
- Adhere to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices.
- Foster teamwork within the Operating Room and across departments to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License.
- Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice.
- Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations.

Pay
$160.00 - $160.00 per hour.
