Responsibilities
- Administer anesthetics under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
- Monitor patients continuously, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care to optimize coordination of care.
- Participate in pre-operative assessments, formulate and implement anesthetic plans, manage post-operative pain regimens, and administer controlled substances.
- Transfer patients between the operating room and post anesthesia care unit, ensuring appropriate monitoring and interventions.
- Communicate effectively with the PACU team, including appropriate sign-out processes.
- Promote a professional atmosphere through courteous communication, cooperation, and respect for all involved.
- Maintain accurate patient records and accurately document presence in the operating room and anesthetic care plan.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control, safety, and electronic medical record usage.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nursing license.
- American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) CRNA certification.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Competency in all areas of practice.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
Pay
The base pay scale for this position is $200.00 - $200.00.
Schedule
This position is available on a Per Diem and Part-time basis.
Qualifications
- Required Education: Master's in Nursing.
- Required Certification: Current Registered Nursing license, AANA CRNA certification, BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Preferred Experience: 1-2 years CRNA experience preferred for new graduates.
