Practice Environment

Location: St. Joseph's Medical Center - Stockton, CA
Facility: 8-room main OR, cath lab, endoscopy.
Hospital Size: 355-bed hospital with 14,300 annual cases covering a wide range of specialties.
Case Mix: General, colorectal, ortho, spine, thoracic, cardiac, vascular, OB/GYN, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and more.
Schedule: Flexible 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, including call options. Post-call days off for in-house shifts.

Scope of Practice

Full autonomy for CRNAs, including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, and central lines.
Anesthesia department diversity: 14 physicians, over 30 independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 Residents (8-10 daily on site) providing services for up to 19 anesthetizing locations daily.
Annual anesthesia case volume: Approx. 14,300 cases, consisting of 9,000 surgical cases, 800 cardiac cases, and 2,000 out-of-OR cases in GI, EP lab/Cath Lab, and interventional radiology.
OB services: 3,000 births annually.

We're seeking full-time and part-time CRNAs who are motivated to practice independently in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Ideal Candidates: Experienced CRNAs or new graduates ready to excel in an academic environment alongside an anesthesiology residency program.
