About the Role
Experienced nurse specializing in critical care, responsible for providing patient care during night shifts in a travel nursing setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality critical care to patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete Trinity-specific competency testing and adhere to specialty protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation, follow safety standards, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 24 months of recent nursing experience, including 3 months in the last year.
- At least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience and 3 months of travel experience.
- Valid Iowa or compact nursing license.
- Current certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, BLS.
- Skills checklist and recent references required.
- COVID vaccination and booster required; no declinations accepted.
- Live more than 60 miles from the facility; travel only, no local candidates.
- Provide references within the last 2 years, including a charge/lead reference.
- Complete onboarding modules and upload certifications for expedited processing.
Schedule
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
- Every other weekend.
- Holiday rotations.
