Critical Care Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

Provide critical care in various ICU environments including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, and ED/PACU. Must be comfortable floating across multiple units and managing complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level critical care in diverse ICU settings
• Float across multiple ICU units as required

Requirements

• Minimum 24 months of ICU experience, including 3 months in the last year
• Critical Care Float Pool experience
• Travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR system
• Valid New York nursing license
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Two recent manager references
• Proof of ID and health certifications

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Approximately 48 hours per week
• Maximum 10 days off

Additional notes: Must have experience floating to various ICUs. No travel teams or pairs; local candidates are not eligible. Pre-employment modules may be required.
