Critical Care Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

An experienced travel nurse specializing in critical care, responsible for providing patient care across multiple units, including ED border patients and floating between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle float duties within specialty and between Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale facilities.
• Follow unit protocols and adhere to holiday and time-off policies.
• Complete pre-employment modules and maintain required certifications.
• Coordinate time off and holiday schedules within policy limits.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent nursing experience, including 3 months in the last year.
• 10 months of critical care float pool experience in the last 3 years.
• Valid Georgia or compact nursing license.
• Certifications in BLS and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Ability to float to different units and locations.
• Strong references, skills checklist, and proof of ID required.
