Critical Care Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

Seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a travel assignment with a focus on critical care in various ICU environments, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and ED/PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in critical care settings
• Float across different ICU units as needed
• Demonstrate competence in managing complex cases

Requirements

• New York nursing license
• At least 24 months of critical care experience, including 3 months in the last year
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (mandatory)
• References, proof of ID, and health documents required for onboarding
• Must meet specific gap requirements if previously employed at certain programs
• No travel teams or pairs allowed

Preferred Qualifications

• Flexibility to float to diverse ICU settings
• Experience in trauma Level 1 settings

Schedule

• Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• Maximum of 10 days off
