Critical Care Transport Nurse

Role Overview This position involves providing comprehensive pediatric and newborn transport services as part of a critical care team. The role includes delivering direct patient care, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities within established standards. Nurses will promote family-centered care, educate families on managing illnesses, and participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.Ensure effective communication of care plans across the continuum.Participate in professional development and uphold safety standards. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.Minimum of 3 years (5 preferred) of pediatric transport, ICU, ER, CICU, or neonatal ICU experience.Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a high-pressure environment. Additional Notes: This is a full-time role requiring 12-hour shifts, on-call duty, and participation in weekend and holiday rotations.
