Critical Care Transport Nurse

This position provides comprehensive pediatric and newborn transport services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. It involves assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs, collaborating with an interprofessional team and families. This role is vital for providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and supporting their families.

Responsibilities

• Promote family-centered healing environments and educate families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, alongside professional development.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
• Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree minimum, Bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of RN experience in pediatric transport, ICU, ER or neonatal ICU; 5+ years preferred.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate critical nursing skills.
