Responsibilities
- Promote family-centered healing environments and educate families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, alongside professional development.
- Develop and document individualized care plans with clear goals, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.
Qualifications
- RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree minimum, Bachelor's preferred.
- 3+ years of RN experience in pediatric transport, ICU, ER or neonatal ICU; 5+ years preferred.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate critical nursing skills.
