Critical Care RN / RT - ECMO

About the role

The ECMO specialist plays a vital role in developing and implementing treatment plans for ECMO patients, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret, adjust, and complete patient care specific to ECMO therapy.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and execute ECMO treatments
• Communicate effectively with medical team to interpret patient needs
• Provide education related to ECMO care

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree and completed ECMO or Extracorporeal Circulation training
• Valid nursing license (Texas) or RRT/CCP certification
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years critical care experience
