Critical Care Nurse (RN/LPN)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill or unstable patients in intensive care units.
• Continuous patient assessment, administration of medications and treatments, operation of advanced medical equipment, collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and support for patients' families during critical situations.
• Operate and monitor life-support equipment, including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond rapidly to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and recovery expectations.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Massachusetts.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
