Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

Experienced Critical Care Nurse for a travel assignment, providing care to adult patients with diverse conditions including stroke, cardiac issues, sepsis, trauma, burns, and vascular diseases.

Responsibilities

• Float across multiple units such as ICU, CVICU, NICU, SICU, MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU
• Manage complex cases requiring skills like CRRT, IABP, Swan Ganz catheters, and Impella
• Complete labs within 48 hours
• Work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ensure compliance with vaccination and certification requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• 12+ months recent ICU experience
• 24 months Critical Care Float Pool experience
• Travel experience
• Proficiency with Epic
• Valid Louisiana or compact license
• Relevant certifications: BLS, ACLS, CCRN, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI
• Preferred: Critical Care Course and Charge Nurse experience
