About the Role
This position involves providing critical care nursing in a travel setting, with responsibilities including float assignments across ICU and PCU units, adhering to shift rotations, and maintaining high-quality patient care. The role requires passing a telehealth assessment and complying with floating and scheduling requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ICU and critical care nursing services across designated units.
- Float to various units as needed, including ICU and PCU.
- Follow rotation schedules and ensure coverage for assigned shifts.
- Complete required certifications and health documentation for onboarding.
- Maintain compliance with facility and licensing standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-5 years ICU experience, with at least 12 months recent experience.
- Critical Care Float Pool experience and travel experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records required.
- Trauma Level II experience preferred; Level I considered a plus.
- Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications required.
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Must have no recent placement at the specified program within six months.
- Proof of identification and recent references needed.
Schedule
- Shift rotations include 12-hour shifts.
- Every other weekend worked.
- Up to 14 days off per schedule.
