Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

About the Role

This position involves providing critical care nursing in a travel setting, with responsibilities including float assignments across ICU and PCU units, adhering to shift rotations, and maintaining high-quality patient care. The role requires passing a telehealth assessment and complying with floating and scheduling requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ICU and critical care nursing services across designated units.
• Float to various units as needed, including ICU and PCU.
• Follow rotation schedules and ensure coverage for assigned shifts.
• Complete required certifications and health documentation for onboarding.
• Maintain compliance with facility and licensing standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years ICU experience, with at least 12 months recent experience.
• Critical Care Float Pool experience and travel experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic electronic health records required.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred; Level I considered a plus.
• Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications required.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Must have no recent placement at the specified program within six months.
• Proof of identification and recent references needed.

Schedule

• Shift rotations include 12-hour shifts.
• Every other weekend worked.
• Up to 14 days off per schedule.
