Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

About the role

Experienced travel nurse specializing in critical care, providing patient care during night shifts while adhering to facility protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a critical care setting.
• Complete Trinity specialty-specific competency testing.
• Maintain required certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, BLS.
• Follow shift schedules, including every other weekend and selected holidays.
• Ensure compliance with COVID vaccination and booster requirements.
• Provide references and skills checklists as needed.
• Participate in pre-employment modules.
• Coordinate up to 14 days of time off.
• Provide recent charge/lead references.

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of recent nursing experience, including 3 months in the last year.
• At least 12 months of critical care float pool experience.
• Travel nursing experience required, with residence more than 60 miles from the facility.
• Valid Iowa or compact nursing license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and BLS.
• Ability to pass Trinity competency testing and submit necessary health documents.
