About the role
The UCHealth Medical Group and the heart and vascular team in Northern Colorado are seeking a critical care cardiologist, fellowship-trained and board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Share call equally within the group (call is 1:8)
- Participate in outreach care across northern Colorado, SE Wyoming, and the panhandle of Nebraska
- Engage in research trials to provide cutting-edge care
- Utilize Epic EMR system-wide
- Support the multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high-quality care for every patient
- Stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements through continuous learning and participation in clinical trials
Requirements
- Fellowship-trained and board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Experience in critical care and cardiovascular disease
- Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques including stress nuclear imaging, echo, cardiac CT, MRI, and cardiac PET
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Strong clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate care
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Current license to practice medicine in Colorado
- Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Ability to manage time effectively between clinical responsibilities and personal life

- Competitive compensation package including base salary ranging from $528,000 to $586,000 annually

Pay
The pay range for this full-time position is $528,000-$586,000 annually.
