About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the heart and vascular team in Northern Colorado are seeking a critical care cardiologist, fellowship-trained and board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Share call equally within the group (call is 1:8)
  • Participate in outreach care across northern Colorado, SE Wyoming, and the panhandle of Nebraska
  • Engage in research trials to provide cutting-edge care
  • Utilize Epic EMR system-wide
  • Support the multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high-quality care for every patient
  • Stay at the forefront of healthcare advancements through continuous learning and participation in clinical trials

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained and board-certified/board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Critical Care Medicine
  • Experience in critical care and cardiovascular disease
  • Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques including stress nuclear imaging, echo, cardiac CT, MRI, and cardiac PET
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current license to practice medicine in Colorado
  • Passing scores on the USMLE or COMLEX exams

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
  • Proficiency in Epic EMR system
  • Ability to manage time effectively between clinical responsibilities and personal life

Pay
