About the role
We seek a strong Critical Care Cardiologist (Board Certified / Board Eligible) with a commitment to excellent patient care and education.
Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ECMO)
- Perform bedside procedures (pulmonary artery catheter, temporary transvenous pacemaker, thoracentesis, chest tube)
- Conduct echocardiography (TTE/TEE) and point-of-care ultrasound
- Perform airway management (intubation, invasive/noninvasive ventilation and bronchoscopy)
- Lead inter-disciplinary care teams in the dedicated cardiac intensive care unit, including the Cardiogenic Shock and PERT team
Requirements
- Ability to manage mechanical circulatory support
- Perform bedside procedures
- Conduct echocardiography and point-of-care ultrasound
- Perform airway management
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Experience in critical care settings
- Academic appointment at the NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine commensurate with experience and academic credentials
Skills

Pay
The starting salary range for the role is $350k - $400k.
