About the role
The Crisis Specialist On-Call - Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) position at Terros Health is a challenging opportunity to provide crisis counseling and stabilization services. Terros Health’s Crisis Mobile Team serves various populations including children, adolescents, adults, seniors, and families through phone, walk-in, and in-home services.
Responsibilities
- Responds on-site to crisis calls that require in-person support.
- Utilizes best practices in crisis intervention to support individuals and families in crisis.
- Affordably assesses and stabilizes clients across different ages, developmental stages, and cultural backgrounds.
- Develops and implements plans for client stabilization and follow-up as necessary.
- Works effectively and respectfully with clients, families, schools, first responders, and other stakeholders.
- Makes appropriate referrals to other agencies or long-term counseling when needed.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adapts well to changing situations.
Requirements
- New graduates welcome and training provided.
- Shift differentials available: $3 per hour extra for evenings and $4 per hour extra for weekends.
- Highly preferred Arizona licenses: LCSW, LPC, LISAC, LMSW, LAC, LASAC, LMFT, in good standing.
