Crisis Bed Therapist

About the role

The Crisis Bed Therapist provides clinical behavioral health services to clients in the Crisis Bed Program and manages a small outpatient caseload. This role includes conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual, group, and family therapy, developing discharge plans, and collaborating with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Role in Crisis Bed Setting:
  • Collaborate with Crisis Bed Coordinator to maintain clinical standards
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized discharge plans
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy using various treatment modalities
  • Conduct risk assessments and apply knowledge of developmental factors, family, and community systems
  • Implement solution-focused and trauma-informed clinical interventions
  • Maintain professional, trauma-informed, and empathetic interactions
• Functional Role in Crisis Bed Setting:
  • Implement and monitor clinical needs of the Crisis Bed program
  • Engage with community resources and make appropriate referrals
  • Consult with other agencies on behalf of clients
  • Collaborate with school staff regarding behavioral health services for students
• General Responsibilities:
  • Uphold professional standards and maintain a quality code of conduct
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders
  • Affirm compliance with policies and procedures and licensing regulations

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree qualifying for licensure in Delaware as LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist
• Two years of relevant full-time post-graduate experience
