Inpatient Therapist

About the role

Inpatient Therapist responsible for conducting therapeutic groups, documenting sessions, and developing treatment plans for adolescent and adult patients in a behavioral health facility.

• Conduct therapeutic groups and maintain accurate documentation of sessions.
• Interview patients to develop psychological histories and assess therapeutic needs of individuals and families.
• Develop treatment objectives, weekly summaries, and serve as the primary contact and advocate for patients and families during their stay.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the treatment team and external agencies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
• Preferred licensure in Florida.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare, family and group therapies, and assessment skills.
• Adolescent drug addiction experience is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment skills are essential.
