Crisis Assessment Specialist - Crisis Center - Pool

The Crisis Assessment Specialist

Responsible for:

• Assisting patients and their families in understanding and coping with behavioral crises.
• Crisis intervention and referral management.
• Facilitating appropriate transition or admission planning for patients needing behavioral health treatment.
• Assisting families in resolving personal and environmental difficulties affecting social functioning.

Collaborates interdepartmentally with all divisions of the hospital.

Education and Certifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling required.
• Only one of the following certifications required:
• LSW Ohio - Ohio Licensed Social Worker
• LPC - Licensed Professional Counselor

CPR Certification preferred, not required.

Department Specific Job Details

This is a pool position, available as needed. Eligible for shifts and shift differentials. Working at least one shift per month at the Crisis Center at the Mathile Center.
