Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide landscaping maintenance on commercial and residential properties in accordance with Mullin’s quality standards for turf and flower care, pruning and weed control.
• Uphold the values of Mullin’s
• Establish and maintain safety and security for all employees and customers.
• Demonstrate Mullin’s customer service standards at all times.
• Inspect trucks and equipment daily to ensure they are in good working order and equipped with proper safety equipment, and report any problems to production manager.
• Use effective communication skills.
• Use push, ride and stand-up mowers, edger’s, pruners, weed eaters, blowers and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Use all appropriate equipment for watering and weed spraying.
• Build positive relationships with customers and employees.

Qualifications

• A solid work ethic and good teamwork skills
• Skills in various gardening techniques and equipment
• A high school degree or GED is preferred
• Ability to read and write
• Must have the minimum of 2 years of experience in landscaping or construction
• Horticulture knowledge standards of pruning, planting and, digging, mulching

Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, crouch, stoop or kneel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job are dictated by the Louisiana Driver’s License requirements.
