About the Role

Moisture Loc, founded in 1988, is the largest family-owned residential waterproofing company in the Carolinas, serving the Charlotte Metropolitan area. We provide waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage, and structural foundation services for both new residential construction and existing homes. Responsibilities

A Crew Member is vital to the successful completion of customer projects and must professionally represent Moisture Loc at all times. A typical day includes:

• Traveling on time to the office with a reliable vehicle
• Traveling on time to scheduled appointments using a company vehicle
• Completing on-site projects, which include:
  • Exterior waterproofing
  • Interior water management systems
  • Yard drainage systems
  • Crawl space encapsulation systems
  • R19 insulation (can include removal of existing insulation)
  • Excavations manually or with heavy equipment

Requirements

• Previous construction and home improvement experience preferred
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including a background check
• Clean record and valid driver’s license
• Able to start work at 7 AM and work until 5 PM, Monday to Friday, and occasionally Saturday

Work Conditions

Work is typically performed in basements and crawl spaces but can also include digging and backfilling trenches. The role requires constant movement, is strenuous and physical, and can include standing, bending, crawling, loading and unloading materials, pushing, and pulling equipment.
