About the Role
Moisture Loc, founded in 1988, is the largest family-owned residential waterproofing company in the Carolinas, serving the Charlotte Metropolitan area. We provide waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage, and structural foundation services for both new residential construction and existing homes. About You
The ideal Crew Member candidate:
- Is upbeat, positive, and brings a can-do attitude to work every day
- Has high stamina and can perform physical labor for 8-10 hours per day
- Is comfortable working in confined spaces
- Works with minimal supervision
- Collaborates effectively as part of a team
- Is quality and safety-driven
- Is detail-oriented
- Is bilingual (preferred)
Responsibilities
A Crew Member is vital to the successful completion of customer projects and must professionally represent Moisture Loc at all times. Key responsibilities include:
- Traveling on time to the office with a reliable vehicle
- Traveling on time to scheduled appointments using a company vehicle
- Completing on-site projects, such as:
- Exterior waterproofing
- Interior water management systems
- Yard drainage systems
- Crawl space encapsulation systems
- R19 insulation installation (including removal of existing insulation)
- Excavations, manually or with heavy equipment
Requirements
- Previous construction and home improvement experience (preferred)
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including a background check
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Able to start work at 7 AM and work until 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Work Conditions
Work is typically performed in basements and crawl spaces but may also include digging and backfilling trenches. The role requires constant movement, is strenuous and physical, and can include:
- Standing, bending, and crawling
- Loading and unloading materials
