As a Crew Member, you’ll craft great food, create positive interactions, and support strong Shoperations every shift in a playful, non-traditional “Toasted” atmosphere. You’ll thrive if you bring energy, consistency, and respect for the process.

Responsibilities

• Guest Experience & Interaction
  • Deliver authentic, genuine interactions
  • Prioritize “interaction over the transaction”
  • Make confident menu recommendations
  • Provide fast, friendly service at the register, line, and lobby
  • Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
• Culture & Vibe
  • Live our culture every shift — give a damn and take pride
  • Uphold the “Big 4” standards
  • Maintain awareness of the shop’s energy and flow
  • Communicate clearly in both positive and challenging situations
  • Exercise empathy and H.A.R.T. when resolving concerns
• Product Quality & Food Safety
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s)
  • Practice F.I.F.O. and proper labeling
  • Use recipe cards and execute builds correctly
  • Maintain strong food handling and sanitation standards
  • Complete prep accurately and on time
• Clean & Safe Environment
  • Maintain strong situational awareness — keep your head on a swivel
  • Clean as you go — never leave a mess behind
  • Perform opening, closing, and shift duties consistently
  • Maintain clean front-of-house and back-of-house areas
  • Follow all employee health and safety policies

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred, but not required
• Food handling certification required (we’ll help you certify if you don’t have one)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable lifting up to 47 lbs
• Comfortable embracing Cheba Hut’s playful, non-traditional “Toasted” atmosphere
• Must have weekend availability
