About the role

As a Crew Leader II on 2nd Shift at Mohawk Industries, you will be responsible for personal and team safety, providing guidance on daily tasks, completing shift reports, maintaining department cleanliness, troubleshooting equipment, ensuring proper changeovers, preventing defects, and preparing and reporting on production runs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for personal safety and monitors the safety of others.
• Provides team guidance on daily tasks.
• Completes shift report by the end of the shift and communicates issues to management immediately.
• Maintains department cleanliness by ensuring all tasks are completed on shifts.
• Troubleshoots and reports machine malfunctions.
• Ensures equipment is inspected throughout the shift and repaired as needed.
• Prevents and limits the number of defects.
• Ensures proper and efficient changeover.
• Prepares and reports on production runs for all styles.
• Ensures Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is available for the shift (gloves, safety glasses, etc.).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience in the operation of production machinery and monitoring products preferred.
• Flexible for all shifts.
• General Labor, Production Worker, lift up to 60 lbs.
• Computer skills required.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
