Crew Lead

About the role

The Crew Lead will head up cleaning and packout crews both in the field and in the warehouse. They will communicate the scope of the project to the team and ensure the necessary materials and equipment are available to get the job done.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that inventory software is properly utilized for tracking the transfer and storage of all contents
• Serve as on-site point of contact for the customer (policy holder) during the packout
• Capture an accurate inventory of contents
• Properly document all aspects of the packout
• Ensure contents, including furniture, valuable, and delicate items, are properly protected, labeled, and inventoried for transfer to warehouse
• Oversee contents cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restoration at the warehouse
• Ensure proper tracking and storing of contents in vaults
• Work with the estimator to develop accurate and timely estimates
• Track usage of packing and cleaning supplies and ensure a proper inventory is maintained
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with the schedule and with company standards

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A willingness to work in challenging conditions (like in a home that has had a fire)
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Caring, patient, and compassionate with a genuine desire to make a difference in clients’ lives
• 2+ years of experience in contents restoration is a plus
• Familiarity with iCat inventory software is a plus
