Creeler- Work Based Learning - Part-Time (Dalton, Georgia, United States, 30721)

What You’ll Do

• Keep the proper yarn supply close to the creel to change packages efficiently.
• Remove empty cones.
• Hang correct yarn (splice if necessary).
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running.
• Observe the creel, stop the machine if breakout, when necessary.
• Assist the operator in doffing a warp/roll.
• Must be able to perform daily autonomous maintenance activities.
• Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

What You Have

• No prior experience required.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Work within a team environment.

About the Role

This role is part of Mohawk Industries Work-Based Learning Program (WBLP) and is only available for qualifying high school students currently enrolled in a High School WBL program. The WBLP with Mohawk is designed to allow students the ability to learn, develop and build onto their industry related skills within *department*, while completing a High School curriculum.
