Part Time Educator (Bullitt, KY)

About the role

Right At School provides safe, fun, and meaningful extended day enrichment programs for students in 17 states. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give parents peace of mind.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for children.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• College credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education or a related field preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• State-specific requirements: CPR, Mandated Reporter training, TB test, etc.

Skills

• Related field college credits preferred.

Pay

$16.00-$19.00 per hour (based on education and experience).
