Responsibilities

  • Oversee the credit risk assessment process, reviewing and monitoring credit applications to ensure compliance with the bank's credit risk strategy and policy guidelines.
  • Lead a team of credit analysts and underwriters, guiding their day-to-day activities and managing their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of credit policies, practices, and procedures to balance risk and profitability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute short and medium-term strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize portfolio performance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in credit risk analysis and underwriting, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Three years of managerial experience with direct reports.

Physical Requirements

  • This job primarily involves working at a desk and using a computer for extended periods.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • A master’s degree in a related field or professional certification in risk management or underwriting is highly desirable.

Pay

Salary Range: $110,400-$171,200. Salary offered will be based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
