Credentialing Assistant – Seasonal (Temporary Role payrolled through 3rd Party Provider)
Primary Responsibilities
- Take detailed notes in meetings and track action items
- Schedule meetings and coordinate across departments
- Monitor and organize credentialing inbox; respond to routine inquiries and escalate as needed
- Aid in drafting and distributing internal communications and memos
- Aid in processing credential requests for league staff and external stakeholders in a timely manner ensuring club deadlines are met
- Maintain and update credentialing databases and records
- Aid in distribution of credentialing information to approved individuals
- Aid with preparation for credentialing operations at league events
- Attend select events to: Distribute credentials on-site, Support credential office operations, Troubleshoot basic access issues and escalate complex situations, Prepare and ship credential packages to clubs and stakeholders
- Receive, organize, and track incoming shipments
- Maintain inventory of credentialing materials (lanyards, wristbands, supplies)
- Aid with invoice processing and budget tracking

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Comfortable handling high-pressure situations and resolving conflict calmly
- Experience in sports, live events, or credentialing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desired Skills
- Experience with Smartsheet
- Familiarity with credentialing/accreditation platforms (e.g., Accredit, TicketManager, Cube Credential Builder)
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of the Spanish Language (business proficiency)
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer
Total Rewards
This is a 4-month temporary position. Major League Soccer offers a compensation of $20.00/hr; 40 hours/week. This position is eligible for overtime pay.
About the Role
The role supports league-wide credentialing operations for professional soccer events, working directly with the Credentialing Coordinator. The position focuses on administrative coordination, communication, and operational support.
