The Credentialing Applications Analyst is responsible for advancing the functionality and operational efficiency of assigned information systems and solutions. This entails analysis, design and development of new software modules and processes; advising, assisting, and training customers in the operation and administration of the systems; and collaborating with customers to enhance their work methodologies and tools.
Responsibilities
The Credentialing Applications Analyst possesses sufficient technical expertise to support an assigned application, but may be called upon to assist with multiple applications. The Credentialing Applications Analyst supports the project management activities required to deliver valuable relevant solutions and assists in the development of project schedules, plans and timelines.
- Project Planning – sets priorities, understands business and clinical applications, answers technical questions and performs all assigned tasks.
- Applications Development – uses PC system development tools to develop and deploy queries, simple applications, moderately complex reports and other business solutions.
- Analysis/Design – translates customer requests into software application solution specifications, appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Technical Administration - maintains detailed technical knowledge of assigned applications.
- Communications - thinks, plans, leads and acts appropriately in tactical settings and demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Problem Solving - identifies issues and concerns and communicates them to Team Lead and/or Manager as appropriate and develops options and recommendations.
- Application Support - assists customers with optimizing their use of assigned applications and specific project-driven tasks and participates in after-hours application support on an as needed basis.
- Customer Service – provides training, support, and problem resolution to customers.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree or three (3) years of advanced credentialing software experience. Licenses/Certifications: MSOW-C preferred.
- Credentialing software training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate credentialing system.
- Basic working knowledge of credentialing application support, development tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with development and implementation of activities in a system-wide credentialing related to system analysis, design, building, and testing.
